With over 20 years of teaching experience on the violin in both the UK and Spain, Aileen is now expanding her teaching base to include face to face online violin and theory lessons via skype. The lessons will be at a mutual time depending on where the pupil lives and any discrepancies in time zones. The only requirement is a good internet connection and sound on the laptop/tablet and obviously (for violin lessons) your own violin! Payment for lessons will be made via paypal.
Aileen prides herself on varied lessons with an emphasis on enjoyment whilst learning. This includes sight reading and aural as well as the basic playing technique leading towards producing rounded, musical performances. She follows the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exam system and has taught pupils up to Grade 8. She also teaches theory up to Grade 8.
Half hour and hourly lesson fees available on application. These will be payable in advance at the start of each month, after an initial trial lesson which will be added to the first month's fees.
Payment for all lessons will be made vial paypal.
The lesson fee includes any preparation I may need to do, however any music must be purchased by the pupil.
